Automotive Service Manager

$100,000 - $120,000+ plus company vehicle

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and customer focused Automotive Service Manager to lead our Service Department with a focus on guiding the customer facing portion of the department to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. As the Service Manager, and working closely with your Workshop Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing a team of Service Advisors, ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, and maintaining the exceptional customer experience our dealership is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively manage the daily workload for the service department, ensuring booking mix is correct.

Oversee and enhance the overall customer experience.

Provide support to the Service Advisors in managing customer inquiries, including service bookings, customer complaints and general enquiries.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and franchise support personnel.

Mentor and train service department staff for optimal performance.

Work closely with the management team to uphold dealership standards.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in personnel and staff management, demonstrating the ability to achieve results and foster a positive workplace culture.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Previous experience in Automotive Service Management is highly desirable.

Working knowledge of Pentana DMS will also be highly regarded.

Ability to liaise effectively with OEMs and franchise support personnel.
