We have an opportunity for a proactive and solutions-focused individual to support the development, integrity, maintenance, and delivery of Council's corporate analytics, integration, automation and AI solutions, ensuring accessibility of data for reporting and decision-making.

As a Data Engineer and Analytics Officer, you will support analytics platform operations, manage and visualise data, and provide training and documentation to stakeholders. You will collaborate across departments to integrate datasets and design data flows that improve business efficiency and ensure secure and insightful reporting tools are maintained.

We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma in an Information Technology related discipline, or has equivalent experience, and has demonstrated ability to work within an evolving digital transformation environment.

You will have the following skills and experience;

• Proven capacity to champion or a demonstratable strong desire to support the establishment of a corporate analytics, integration, automation and AI solution(s), in support of our Digital Transformation.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail and ability to undertake research and analysis, collate and present information in an effective format.
• Demonstrated understanding of dataset and workflow integration methods between SaSS and on-premise corporate systems including the use of middleware solutions.
• Proficiency in MS SQL (extracting, manipulating and summarising data) Strong experience in MS Power BI and SAP Crystal Reports and MS Power Platform. Preferred experience with CIVICA Authority, Content Manager, ESRI & Assetic.

This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $95,484.48 gross per annum, comprising of:

• $1,639.50 per week base salary
• $196.74 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
