TheHatch Undergraduate Programprovides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

As part of the Hydrotechnical Team you will provide civil engineering design expertise to Hatch's commodity-based business units and have the opportunity to work across flood modelling, flood mitigation, flood management and climate change. Our capability spans through the whole project lifecycle, comprising scoping, conceptual design, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, construction and project management.

You bring to the role:

You will be working towardsBachelor/Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a strong academic record.Candidates will haveexceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.

The 12-week program commences onMonday, 17 Nov 2025.Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 19 December 2025 and will reopen Monday, 5 January 2026. The Vacation Program will conclude from COB Friday, February 20th, 2026.
