Overview

Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development

Growing civil engineering consultancy based in Brisbane, specialising in the design and development of master-planned communities throughout SEQ. Responsive, front-line approach in their delivery across a wide range of infrastructure and residential subdivision projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead land development projects from concept through delivery
  • Design leadership and technical oversight on land development infrastructure
  • Drive high-quality documentation, design reviews, and constructability assessments
  • Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, local authorities, and contractors
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and design team members
  • Deliver civil engineering solutions that are innovative, sustainable, and cost-efficient
  • Contribute to repeat business and maintain a strong pipeline and growth trajectory
  • Foster a tight-knit, innovative, hands-on environment where collaboration and accountability are valued
  • Learn from and be mentored by senior engineers and directors on projects that combine technical rigor with sustainability and community impact
  • Contribute to projects that genuinely shape communities, blending design excellence with environmental sensitivity
Ideal qualifications
  • Proven track record in Queensland land development space, 5–10+ years experience
  • Extensive experience in preparing design documentation and supporting project management
  • Excellent client engagement and coordination skills
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex engineering challenges while ensuring cost-effectiveness and constructability
