Overview

Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Development at Scotford Fennessy. Multidisciplinary consultancy with around 200 staff nationally across metro and regional offices. Lead engineering design, planning, estimation, feasibility reporting; supervise complex engineering tasks relating to civil projects; monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time and in-budget delivery; proactively identify and address potential changes to project scope/costs; develop and maintain strong client and staff relationships when preparing fee proposals; liaise with the client, approval authorities and other third-parties. Understanding of the commercial framework within a professional services firm. Partner with colleagues who are industry leaders and have a dynamic leadership team at your disposal. Supervise and mentor engineering and design staff.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering design, planning, estimation, feasibility reporting.
  • Supervise complex engineering tasks relating to civil projects.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time and in-budget delivery.

Qualifications
  • Requires 6-10 years experience in the urban development industry within a consulting environment.
  • Civil Engineering Degree and RPEQ or working towards gaining RPEQ.
