Hawker Memorial Hospital

The hospital has a 13-bed facility, including 4 acute and 9 aged care beds as part of the Flinders Ranges Multi-Purpose Service (MPS). It provides accident and emergency services, general medical care, palliative care, and allied health services. The team is compassionate, caring, and highly professional. About the Role :

As a Practice Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services, building your expertise from a developing practitioner to a proficient professional. You will consolidate your skills through ongoing professional development and hands-on experience, taking accountability for your standards of care and the safe delegation of tasks.

About You :

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in relevant nursing practice according to standards.

Immunisation risk category for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).

Applicant Information :

  • This is a part-time vacancy, working 16 hours per fortnight, with salary adjusted accordingly.
  • Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance.
