SA Health is calling for a Part-time Practice Nurse position in the picturesque coastal town of Elliston.
About the Role Join our dedicated team at Mid-Eyre Medical Practice within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network.
This short-term contract position (ending 26 November 2025) offers the perfect opportunity to contribute to essential healthcare services in a close-knit community whilst experiencing the unique charm of regional South Australia.
As a Clinical Nurse - Practice Nurse, you will bring consolidated experience and / or further study to deliver care with competence and proficiency.
You will accept accountability for your own practice standards, delegate tasks responsibly, and support the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
This role also involves providing key support to the Nursing / Midwifery Unit Manager in leading the nursing / midwifery team within the ward, unit, or service.
Your contributions will be essential in promoting continuity and consistency of care, assisting with practice changes, and supporting management responsibilities such as performance management, recruitment, staffing, rostering, and resource planning.

What We're Looking For : Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse / Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Registered Nurse / Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse / Midwife.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
Experience in Leadership and management roles.
