Our Rescue & Fire Fighting (RFF) services currently extend from stations in WA, SA, VIC, NSW, and QLD. Due to the evolving nature of this contract, we are currently employing a Watchroom Operator in our Fire and Rescue operations at Bandiana. This role can be a career as a Watch Room operator within the Emergency Services and Defence Industry or the first step into a career as a Firefighter.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain operational readiness according to Ventia's policies and guidelines.
  • Respond to fire incidents and support communications with the Incident Controller.
  • Assist the Fire Station OIC with administrative duties related to operations.
  • Participate in training and development plans.

        • PUACOM001 Communicate in the Workplace
        • PUACOM001C Communicate in the Workplace (Superseded)
          • PUATEA002 Work Autonomously
          • PUATEA002B Work Autonomously (Superseded)
          Highly Desirable
          • Previous experience in a communications room.
          Other Requirements
          • Eligible for a Defence Security Clearance up to Negative Vetting Level 1; Australian Citizenship required.
          • Part of a long-term defence contract.
