Role Overview

As a Plant Mechanic based at the Port Kembla branch, you will be responsible for the efficient servicing of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across equipment such as Generators, Light Towers, Rollers, Excavators, Message Boards, EWP's, and Small Engines
  • Maintaining up-to-date service records
  • Minimising operational downtime
  • Promoting a Safety First, Zero Harm culture by championing safety with colleagues and customers

What You'll Bring
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills
  • Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills
  • A forklift ticket (highly regarded)
