Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.

The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

About the Role:

Join our dynamic construction team as a Project Engineer (Mechanical) and play a key role in delivering a landmark tunnelling project. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, grow your expertise, and make a real impact for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage plants, equipment, and resources per project requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee project plants, including EPB TBM, spoil conveyor, MSV, ventilation, backfill grout plant, water treatment, power/water supply, material handling, cross passage excavation plants, and related equipment.
• Coordinate daily plant maintenance with the Tunnel Plant Manager and Plant Manager.
• Monitor spare parts availability based on project priorities.
• Work with the TBM Mechanical Superintendent to ensure safe and efficient inspections and maintenance, keeping reports updated.
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality, and Environmental teams to meet compliance standards.
• Foster effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Adhere to Terra Verde policies, processes, and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Relevant safety, construction and industry certifications and tickets

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
• Strong focus in collaboration and teamworking spirit.
