Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a project-based role with key responsibilities including leading mechanical design teams, coordinating tasks, attending sales and project review meetings, developing system designs and layouts, managing design schedules and budgets, liaising with project managers, architects, builders, consultants, and purchasing teams, checking and approving drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, developing mechanical installation work packages, and providing technical support and advice to other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and allocate tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Attend sales and project review meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
  • Develop system designs and layouts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage design schedules, budgets, and work orders to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, builders, consultants, and purchasing teams to facilitate communication and cooperation.
  • Check and approve drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans to ensure safe and effective project execution.
  • Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees.

Requirements
