Overview

Our client is seeking someone to join thier team as a Senior Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships in the Christmas and Year-Round Experiences market. Reporting directly to the Group Account Director, this position offers a unique opportunity to work with high-end retail, commercial property, and council clients, contributing to a creative and dynamic environment with a passionate and supportive team

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key decision-makers in high-end retail, commercial property, and council sectors.
  • Maximise sales from existing clients through the development of innovative concepts and solutions.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, from lead qualification to project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and business pipelines to achieve allocated sales and GP budget.
  • Act as the primary client interface throughout project lifespans, troubleshooting and responding to client needs promptly.
  • Conduct site scoping activities, including property assessments and gathering technical information.
  • Attend site installations/dismantles as required, including overnight work when necessary.
  • Travel within Australia and New Zealand to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, including assembling quotes and proposals.
  • Identify and develop sponsorship and brand integration opportunities for projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a thorough understanding of the company's strategies and objectives.
  • Network with potential and current clients by attending industry events.
Candidate Requirements
  • Exceptional communicator with very high presentation and sales skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiator with the ability to apply learned sales strategies effectively.
  • Experience managing complex major projects and multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with excellent planning and administration skills.
  • Strong business acumen and creative flair.
  • High level of IT literacy with experience in Microsoft Office, Sage Evolution, Smartsheet, Trello, Hubspot, and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, sharing information and accepting guidance when needed.
