What will you do?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant in our Kidswear team to join Target This category features a huge variety of products, and our team is doing great things to elevate it. We need an incredible Buying Assistant to support us on this journey.

As a Buying Assistant, you will support our Buyers in sourcing the best products that bring meaningful moments into our customers' lives.

Some of the key responsibilities are:
  • Managing all marketing and coordination of samples for advertising, including online
  • Managing the product registration process after sign-off, from keycode creation to sampling and packaging coordination
  • Supporting the department by ensuring all data entry information is accurate, up-to-date, and maintained
  • Providing market insights by assessing the competitive set regularly and feedback to the team
  • Liaising with local supply bases and overseas sourcing teams

We're seeking a driven, efficient, and enthusiastic individual with a curious mindset and a passion for retail and apparel. You love delivering products, prioritize customers, and excel at building relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, we would love you to have:

  • Ability to manage and interpret data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective numerical, critical thinking, and analytical skills
