Primarily, the focus will be allocating, coordinating and managing TRUCK jobs - acting as the conduit between clients and drivers. In time, this will expand to include the courier and ute fleet in a relieving capacity.

Overall, this role will be a fleet controller of sorts; managing drivers, vehicles and owners of all vehicles across the fleet. The fleet consists of mainly sub-contractors, some owner/operators, some separate owners to drivers. There are also a few employees.

Redback Express owns around 10 vehicles, the maintenance and repair of which will be the responsibility of this role. This will include the submission and coordination of insurance claims.

A number of clients require regular reporting, sometimes daily, of the work performed and costs incurred, as well as the provision of PODs and paperwork.

If you have a solid knowledge of Adelaide suburbs and have reasonable computer skills then you could be who we're looking for. A customer service driven mindset and a history of being a reliable team member will definitely get your foot in the door.

Sound geographical knowledge of Adelaide suburbs and surrounding areas is your key to success

Proven ability to quickly learn new software programs and become confident in its use and application

Demonstrated ability to manage and cope with high volumes of tasks simultaneously for extended periods of time

Effective communication with a range of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on the end result of successful deliveries. This may include issue solution and negotiation

Ability to develop meaningful relationships with all stakeholders through friendly and cooperative phone communication

Proficient use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
