About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Auditor to join our front office team. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of the resort during the overnight shift (10pm-6am), checking in late arrivals, ensuring a seamless guest experience, handling daily financial transactions, end-of-day reporting, managing issues or emergencies, and delivering high standards of customer service.

Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, your key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the night audit process, ensuring accuracy of end-of-day procedures, revenue, transactions, payments, security, and reporting
• Facilitating guest check-ins & check-outs and providing information about accommodation, rates, and amenities
• Monitoring, addressing, and resolving overnight operational or guest issues and emergencies
• Communicating effectively with other departments to meet guest needs
• Conducting audits, identifying improvements, and implementing changes

This is a permanent, part-time position, working Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Additional daytime shifts may be available if desired.

What you'll need to be successful

• Previous night auditor experience & knowledge in a front office 4-5 star hotel/resort environment
• PMS experience, Opera preferred, and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Understanding of financial processes, information, and data
• High attention to detail, excellent administration, and organizational skills
• Hold or ability to obtain a Qld Working with Children Check Blue Card
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
