We are expanding our team to accommodate new clients and industry growth. We seek our next generation of Home Care Workers, where you will be paid to attend work and receive training from our experienced team, as well as paid to attend scheduled classes and study days to complete your Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care).

We are recruiting part-time Home Care Workers. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 30 hours. We will accommodate your availability and preferences for days and hours, aiming for consistency where possible.

What we are seeking:

  • A positive attitude.
  • Reliability and clear communication skills.
  • Desire to work with the elderly in their homes.
  • Willingness to learn and work.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Willingness to obtain an NDIS Workers Check if needed.
  • Current SA Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
  • Full Australian Working Rights, or be an AU/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident, to access funding for training and traineeship.
  • Regular availability.
  • Good physical health and fitness to perform various tasks (to be confirmed by a health assessment).
  • A genuine desire to care for and assist the elderly.

Shifts:

Available Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Shift lengths vary from 1 to 3 hours, with arrangements made to maximize back-to-back client visits. Travel time and kilometers between clients are paid.

Services / Tasks:

During your traineeship, you will be trained in services including:

  • Domestic Assistance (vacuuming, mopping, changing sheets, surface cleaning).
  • Bed making and room tidying.
  • Shopping for clients (weekly or fortnightly).
  • Transportation to appointments.
  • Personal Care (showering, dressing, grooming).
  • Respite and Social Support.
  • Building rapport and working effectively with clients and team members.
