As a Community Support Worker you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities to participate in community activities, develop social connections, and pursue their interests and hobbies. You will support clients in various settings, including recreational activities, educational programs, and vocational opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to create engaging support experiences
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that foster social connections and skill development
- Ensure a safe environment for clients
- Promote independence and empower clients to make choices
- Document client progress and report any concerns to the relevant team members

- Certificate III in Individual Disability Support or relevant qualification preferred
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Remuneration:
SCHADS Award - Social & Community Services
$67,000 - $77,000 per annum
