Reporting to

IT Services Manager

Key Duties

• Part of the IT Service Desk team responsible for ensuring colleagues maximize the use of systems and equipment.
• Provide first and second line support for all IT & communication software, systems, and technologies used by the group.
• Utilise a wide range of IT skills in a predominantly Microsoft environment.
• Looking for an enthusiastic and bright individual to join a welcoming and experienced team.
• Primary focus on application support, but the role is varied and covers all aspects of IT and telecoms.
• Play a key part in projects to further improve systems and services.
• Windows 10 and 11
• Office 365, including SharePoint 365 development
• Microsoft SQL & Reporting Services
• Bespoke applications encompassing CRM & ERP, with web, Android tablet, and touchscreen PC clients
• Mobile device management using AirWatch and Soti
• Windows Server
• VMWare
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Previous application support experience
• Customer focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Logical approach to problem solving
• MS Office installation, configuration, administration and support
  
  

Nice To Have

• Ability to understand and write SQL queries
• HNC or better in a computer-related discipline
• A sense of humour
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good organisation skills
