About The Role
We are looking for a talented and ambitious person to join the commercial team as Key Account Manager, where you will be part of System1's transformation from a market research consultancy to a global provider of technology-based data & insights.
Your principal responsibility will be to provide commercial management within the APAC region to help manage and grow key accounts to support the company's ambitious growth plans. This will require you to execute on the Go-to-Market strategy for System1's three product areas of focus: Test Your Ad, Test Your Brand and Test Your Innovation.
You will need to be based within Australia and report into the Senior Vice President of APAC, based in Sydney. You will be part of a wider team of sales professionals with a focus on delivering the commercial strategy and the achievement of our financial targets.
What will you be doing?
- Support the day-to-day management of ANZ based accounts to grow share of wallet through up- and cross-selling strategies.
- Focus on client value generation to ensure retention of and growth within key accounts.
- Support the educational efforts on key accounts, including leading presentations, workshops, and other activities.
- Proactive prospecting and identifying of leads to extend the account portfolio and win new business.
- Support on new business pitches to ensure maximize conversion in line with go-to-market strategy.
- Management of clients' day-to-day needs and coordination with support departments to ensure they deliver excellence to your clients.
- Support APAC commercially based colleagues in the execution of commercial operations and administration.

You need to have the following experience:
- You have at least 2 years in client-facing roles in data, market research and/or insights teams.
- You are passionate about advertising, research, building long-term relationships with customers, and generating ROI.
- You have experience within key industries of focus: Technology, Automotive, Pharma, Financial Services, Consumer Goods.
- You are a highly motivated, commercially focused professional and willing to do what it takes to generate consistent customer value and drive ROI.
- You have a passionate interest in helping brands improve their marketing and advertising efforts through consumer research.
- You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, accepting the realities of operating within a business committed to disrupting the market.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree.
- You can communicate confidently with various internal stakeholders and client contacts relating to multiple project streams, always ensuring speed and quality of client deliverables.
