Part of the CSR family, our Interior Systems Business Unit includes market-leading brands such as Gyprock Plasterboard, Martini, and Himmel Interior Systems. We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications, leading in interior lining solutions across the building industry.

About the role

The Trade Warehouse Operator / Counter Sales role is a full-time position based at our Bayswater North, VIC store. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role primarily involves warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in customer service and delivery support as needed.

In this role you will:

  1. Perform warehouse operations including stock movements, order picking, inventory counts, and housekeeping.
  2. Operate forklifts for loading customer vehicles and moving stock within the warehouse.
  3. Handle manual tasks such as lifting and unwrapping products.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation, product labeling, and presentation standards.
  5. Provide customer service support via phone, email, and in person.
  6. Assist with deliveries when required.

Your hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.

About you:

  1. Current forklift license with sufficient experience is essential.
  2. Ability to lift and move heavy products (manual handling involved).
  3. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures.
  5. Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  6. Contribute to a constructive and innovative workplace culture.
