We're looking for experienced solar electrical apprentices and tradies with a background in roofing and/or solar panel installation to join our residential installation team. We prioritize safety and workmanship, offering a competitive salary and incentives.

As a successful candidate, you:

  • Ideally have previous experience in the solar industry (not mandatory)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Hold valid Working at Heights certification and preferably a White Card
  • Might have an EWP Ticket (not essential)
  • Have solid trade skills, including familiarity with roofing materials and techniques, and an eagerness to learn new technology and processes
  • Maintain a professional attitude, be friendly, and enjoy working within a team
  • Are willing to work away on projects occasionally

About the Role

As a solar roofer, your responsibilities include:

  1. Collecting stock from our warehouse in Pinkenba or local suppliers and transporting it to the site
  2. Preparing and maintaining roofs
  3. Installing system components such as panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, roof racking, and conduits
  4. Collaborating with electricians and team members for wiring and electrical connections
  5. Conducting system commissioning and quality inspections
  6. Engaging professionally with customers during installation and assisting them in using their systems
  7. Keeping the work area clean and organized, with proper waste disposal
