Overview

Western Grammar School is a co-educational K-12 school operating since 2012. Our mission is to provide quality education in a caring environment, producing ethical, resilient lifelong learners. The school supports families in educating their children and offers a broad co-curricular program with a focus on student welfare and wellbeing.

We are expanding and recruiting for the following positions: High School Teachers (7-12), Primary School Teachers (K-6), and a Procurement Manager. This is a full-time opportunity located in New South Wales, Australia.

Responsibilities
  • High School Teachers (7-12): Shape the educational experience by teaching within an adaptable team under the leadership team.
  • Primary School Teachers (K-6): Deliver engaging, age-appropriate education aligned with the NSW curriculum; foster development and create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Procurement Manager: Oversee school-wide procurement activities (facilities, resources, IT, uniforms and services); identify and engage suppliers; develop contracts and vendor relationships; monitor budgets; ensure compliance with school policies and legal frameworks; collaborate with teaching, admin, and facilities to forecast needs; maintain procurement records and reporting; drive continuous improvement in procurement systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven procurement experience, preferably in an education setting; strong understanding of purchasing policies, budgeting, and supplier negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with procurement or finance software (XERO).
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail in regulated environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across school departments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related field.
Remuneration

Remuneration is competitive and commensurate with experience. ($75,000 - $95,000 per annum).
