What you'll do- Lead the development and delivery of The Lottery Corporation's digital platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer experience excellence.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineering leads, fostering a high-performing and innovative team culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams to drive successful project execution and delivery.
- Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and output quality.
- Manage major incident resolution and ensure platform stability in partnership with broader Technology stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience in engineering management, with a track record of delivering complex technical projects.
- Strong technical expertise in solution architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinking and customer-led decision-making, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in regulated industries and managing diverse supplier/resource models (e.g., matrix, managed services).
