At EventsAir, we're looking for a Junior IT Technician to be the frontline hero of our IT Helpdesk. You'll be the first responder when tickets come flying in, helping staff with their tech needs, keeping our systems humming, and escalating when needed. Think of yourself as the friendly face of IT – approachable, reliable, and ready to save the day.

What you'll be doing

• Be the first point of contact for service desk tickets and IT help requests
• Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices (aka making sure tech just works)
• Troubleshoot basic network and software issues
• Install and update software while keeping tidy documentation
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding (new hires love smooth setups)
• Keep our internal knowledge base alive by documenting issues and solutions
• Help maintain our inventory of IT assets and equipment

• Happy team members who can get back to work quickly after tech issues
• Efficient ticket response times
• Well-maintained IT gear and systems that don't skip a beat

What we need from you (must-haves)

• A good grasp of Microsoft Windows OS and Office 365
• Basic networking and troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to Azure Active Directory and endpoint management
  
• Education
  • Minimum: Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bonus: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or CompTIA A+
  • Ideal to have- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell tinkerers, we see you )
  • Ideal to have- Experience with SaaS support tools and remote desktop management
  • Ability to work in the office 5 days a week, due to the internal facing hands-on nature of our role
