Responsibilities- Contribute to deal execution across the Deal Advisory practice, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Services, Valuations, and Turnaround and Restructuring.
- Apply structured thinking and analysis to complex client problems; develop options and a runway to stabilise client issues.
- Build trust and partnerships with diverse client groups; prepare proposals, case studies, and sector-specific materials.
- Support day-to-day execution of full-cycle transactions and collaborate with local and national teams.

Mergers and Acquisitions- A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, with a strong academic record; ability to commence/continue relevant postgraduate studies (CFA, CA, Master of Finance).
- Diversified M&A, Corporate Finance or Debt Advisory experience, preferably within a Big 4, corporate development team and/or investment banking/boutique firm.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn; ability to support the wider team locally and nationally.
- Ability to help lead day-to-day execution of a full-cycle M&A transaction.
- Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Law, or related subjects; postgraduate qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Experience in Big 4 / independent corporate advisory, accounting or law firms, investment banking, or commercial teams in operational businesses.
- Experience across transactions or relevant transferable skills; strong analytical capability and commercial acumen.
- Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and report writing skills.
- Experience in Excel-based financial analysis; financial modelling capabilities are advantageous.
- A degree in Commerce or Finance and/or professional accounting/finance qualification; 1–3 years' experience in valuation or similar environment beneficial.
- Experience in Big 4 / independent corporate advisory, accounting or law firms, investment banking, or commercial teams in operational businesses.
- Experience across turnaround, restructuring, insolvency, or related areas; willingness to transition into these areas.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Law, or related subjects; postgraduate qualification or path (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, ARITA or TMA) preferred.
- Salary ranges are listed as $60k – $250k+ depending on level of experience.
- Employment types: Casual, Max-Term Full-Time, Max-Term Part-Time, Permanent Full-Time & Permanent Part-Time.
- Offices: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart, Gold Coast, Darwin, Townsville, Parramatta, Wollongong, Newcastle/Hunter Region, Geelong.
