We have an exciting opportunity and are seeking a high performing self-starter with M&A deal execution experience to fill our Analyst role.

Oxley Capital Partners is an independent corporate advisory and investment firm, working with family owned and corporate food and agribusiness operators across the supply chain.

This is a full-time position offering flexible working conditions to suit business and personal circumstances, based in our Sydney CBD office.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 1-3 years' experience in a relevant corporate finance (M&A) or related role.

Your role:

  • support the day-to-day execution of a full cycle mid-market M&A transaction, including information memorandum preparation, data room management and stakeholder engagement.
  • work across the breadth of an M&A deal including DCM and ECM, supporting clients at various stages of their growth cycle.
  • assist with deal execution on a diverse range of engagements that provide opportunities for regular client interactions.
  • support with building financial models and undertaking analysis in Microsoft Excel.
  • possess strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
  • assist with deal origination including market and industry research and the preparation and delivery of proposal documents.

About you:

  • a passion for deals and an ability to perform in a fast paced environment to achieve exceptional results for our clients.
  • work experience (min 1-3 years) with diverse transaction experience, preferably with M&A lead advisory exposure.
  • a degree in business/commerce/accounting/finance or a relevant discipline.  CA and/or CFA qualifications advantageous but not essential.
  • highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • strong MS Excel based financial modelling capabilities, Power Point and Canva skills.
  • dedication to teamwork with an ability to influence and support internal and external stakeholders.
  • creative approach to problem solving.
