Are you passionate about storytelling, community engagement, and digital communication? Join the City of Stonnington as our Social Media Content Creator and help shape how we connect with our diverse community online. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our digital presence - crafting compelling content, supporting strategic campaigns, and building meaningful interactions across our social media platforms. You'll work closely with internal teams to bring local stories to life and ensure our messaging is timely, inclusive, and impactful.

• Create, schedule and publish content across Council's social media platforms
• Collaborate with teams to highlight services, events and community stories
• Monitor channels, respond to queries, and foster positive online engagement
• Track performance metrics and contribute insights to improve strategy
• Support internal staff with training and guidance on social media best practice
• Stay across emerging trends and tools to keep our digital presence fresh
• Assist in integrating social media with other digital platforms and campaigns

This permanent full-time position offers a salary between $83,480 and $95,636, plus 12% superannuation and a monthly accrued day off.

• Experience managing social media in a professional setting
• Strong writing, visual storytelling and content planning skills
• Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive communication
• Relevant qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media or similar
• Current Victorian driver's licence, Working with Children Check, and police clearance
