The Role
This role is part of the Sales Division within the business, reporting to the International Sales Manager. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with appointed distributors in allocated markets around the globe. You will work to maximise the brand's potential while ensuring contractual arrangements with distribution partners are being honoured. You will participate in investigating new markets, discovering new distributor partner options, and appointing distributors.

You will engage and lead in-market planning with distribution partners to increase market penetration and market share while creating an environment that enhances communication between distributors and other areas of the Blundstone operative structure. Working in collaboration with the Brands, Design, and Consumer Engagement team, you will execute product-ranging strategies, brand positioning, brand messaging, and market support. As part of maintaining strong market intelligence and awareness, you will determine ongoing forecasts for sales budgets and provide the best possible information to the business regarding changes to market purchase intentions and trends.

You can expect to travel overseas for 80-90 nights per annum, generally in 3-4 week travel blocks within a relatively rigid program. Our head office is in Hobart, and we are seeking applicants who are based locally.

You will be knowledgeable and possess broad expertise and outstanding communication skills to converse freely and comfortably with diverse groups. You will be able to tailor your approach to various audiences and influence the people around you to achieve results. You will have a proven ability to work autonomously and balance competing priorities in a dynamic and changing global work environment. Your strong appreciation and understanding of our markets will be combined with your high energy and excellent leadership skills to ensure our brand potential is optimised. You will be able to build robust, long-lasting, high-quality relationships across numerous cultures. You will be articulate and accept the pressures associated with a 24/7 global work environment, and have high level excel skills.
