
Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Motorola Solutions. The SDR is a vital part of the sales team, acting as the first point of contact for new clients and supporting regional coverage. This role focuses on radiating sales of Video Security and Analytics solutions within the product portfolio and collaborating with Account Managers to drive next-generation solutions and services.
Responsibilities- Act as the subject matter expert, champion, and advocate for specific solutions or products within the portfolio.
- Prospect for new business by cold calling and generating new leads.
- Qualify leads in Salesforce and other databases and resources as directed by the Inside Sales Manager.
- Schedule, coordinate, and promote demo webinars in the assigned region as directed by the Inside Sales Manager.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual performance objectives for the assigned territory.
- Proactively utilize strong problem-solving skills to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Educate customers on business processes and products; continuously learn about products and solutions.
- Demonstrate active listening and consultative selling skills when promoting additional products and services.
- Strong verbal communication and multi-tasking skills during customer interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple systems and applications and effectively qualify and resolve customer issues using internal tools.
- Potential progression into Account Executive, Marketing Specialist, Channel Support.
- Preferred experience with technology sales, cold calling, and webinars.
- Preferred Salesforce CRM and Outreach tool experience.
- Some travel may be required during duties; remote selling experience a plus.
- Experience developing collaborative relationships.
- Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Windows or Google-based applications.
- One or more years of experience within an Inside Sales organization.
- Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Confident, self-motivated, with drive, grit, and determination.
- Strong team player and adaptable to changing technologies, processes, and environments.
- Successful applicants may be required to pass a police security clearance.
- Ability to travel on occasion, often on short notice.
