Overview

HealthShare NSW is seeking a motivated Revenue Officer, Patient Billing to join our team. This is a full-time Exempt (until June 2026) position in Administration Officer Level 4, located in Sky Central Charlestown. The remuneration ranges from $72,285.58 to $73,940.16 per annum, plus 12% superannuation. Hours per week: 38.

What you'll be doing
  • Generating invoices accurately and on time, in line with service agreements, policies, and legislation.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for patients, carers, and health entities, providing professional and compassionate customer service.
  • Supporting billing operations through administration, quality control, and audit readiness.
  • Collaborating with your team to identify and implement process improvements that enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Contributing to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within Patient Billing Shared Services.
What we're looking for
  • Experience working in finance, billing, or administration (healthcare experience highly regarded).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients and stakeholders with empathy and discretion.
  • Proven ability to follow procedures while exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • A commitment to delivering quality outcomes and meeting key performance indicators.

Eligibility Requirements
