We are seeking an accomplished Mathematics Teacher to join our team in a permanent full-time or part-time capacity commencing Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will be an engaging teacher who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum and who can foster warm, supportive relationships with students. As Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering a love for mathematics and helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking an accomplished Mathematics Teacher to join our team in a permanent full-time or part-time capacity commencing Term 1, 2026.

The successful applicant will be an engaging teacher who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum and who can foster warm, supportive relationships with students. As Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering a love for mathematics and helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge, competence and confidence in Mathematics
  • Programming, lesson planning, assessment and reporting
  • Create engaging and effective instructional materials and resources
  • Modifying teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Provide effective feedback to students in order to improve their understanding and learning
  • Contribute to the school's commitment to a well-rounded, rich, and distinctive curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral support to students, upholding our Steiner philosophy
Requirements
  • Ability to teach Mathematics to Years 7-10 (Essential)
  • Ability to teach HSC and/or IB Diploma Mathematics (Desirable)
  • Current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW (Essential)
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check (Essential)
  • NESA-recognised tertiary educational qualifications (Essential)
  • Have a passion for teaching the relevant subject area (Essential)
  • Be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development (Essential)
