A.B. Paterson College is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and expert Specialist Mathematics Teacher to inspire and challenge students through high-quality mathematics instruction. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and rigorous mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and align with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus.
2. Create a respectful and supportive classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies that promote self-discipline, critical thinking, and student wellbeing.
3. Monitor and support student academic progress, providing timely feedback and implementing strategies to help students improve performance and study skills.
4. Actively contribute to the College's pastoral care and co-curricular programs, supporting students' personal, social, and emotional development through meaningful engagement.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development, promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and a strong sense of community within the College.

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher, ideally with experience in Specialist Mathematics
• A strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
• A collaborative team member who contributes positively to College life
• Someone who embraces innovation and continuous improvement in teaching practice
• A strong background and sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus
• Up-to-date skills in the use of IT and other digital classroom resources
• Current CPR and First Aid training, or willingness to obtain
• Current Teacher Registration is a requirement of this position
