A.B. Paterson College is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and expert Specialist Mathematics Teacher to inspire and challenge students through high-quality mathematics instruction. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2026.
We are looking for an educator who brings subject mastery, professionalism, and enthusiasm to the classroom, and who is committed to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics in students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and align with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus.
- Create a respectful and supportive classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies that promote self-discipline, critical thinking, and student wellbeing.
- Monitor and support student academic progress, providing timely feedback and implementing strategies to help students improve performance and study skills.
- Actively contribute to the College's pastoral care and co-curricular programs, supporting students' personal, social, and emotional development through meaningful engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development, promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and a strong sense of community within the College.

What We're Looking For:
- A qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher, ideally with experience in Specialist Mathematics
- A strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
- A collaborative team member who contributes positively to College life
- Someone who embraces innovation and continuous improvement in teaching practice
- A strong background and sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus
- Up-to-date skills in the use of IT and other digital classroom resources
- Current CPR and First Aid training, or willingness to obtain
- Current Teacher Registration is a requirement of this position
