  The Role
  
  Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically adept QA Engineer with hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience and automation testing capabilities. This role requires more than just manual testing – we're looking for someone who can confidently contribute to automation strategies, understand CI/CD integration, and communicate technical concepts clearly with developers and stakeholders. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about quality, eager to work on enterprise-grade Azure-hosted applications, and enthusiastic about evolving in an Agile environment.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute automated and manual test plans for web and API applications, with a focus on Angular front-end platforms.
  • Conduct component-level and end-to-end testing on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including templates, workflows, and content authoring.
  • Perform validation across AEM Authoring, Publishing, and Dispatcher environments.
  • Collaborate with Developers, DevOps, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality delivery throughout the SDLC.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Cypress, TestCafe, WebDriverIO, or similar frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Validate API functionality and perform API automation testing for backend integration.
  • Support CI/CD by integrating tests into Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot issues in Azure-based environments, covering both application and infrastructure layers.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA strategy improvements.
    
    
  Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on AEM experience – including Authoring, Publishing, Dispatcher, component testing, and workflow validation.
  • Strong automation testing experience – must be able to confidently discuss tools, frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in manual testing for scenarios where automation is not feasible.
  • Experience using modern test frameworks such as Cypress, TestCafe, WebDriverIO.
  • Minimum 3 years of Microsoft Azure experience – infrastructure and application-level testing.
  • Expertise in API testing and automation.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills – must be able to hold meaningful technical conversations with stakeholders.
    
    
  Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale CMS environments.
  • Familiarity with performance or security testing tools.
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA credentials.
  • Understanding of test coverage, code quality metrics, and test management tools.
