About the opportunityWe are currently seeking a passionate English teacher to join our College community on an temporary full-time basis from Term 1 2026. This position is a 9 month maternity leave cover.
The successful applicant will:
- Have the ability to teach Stages 4 to 6 English.
- Demonstrate a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of college life.
- Be a lifelong learner who is committed to ongoing professional learning.
- Lead the development of social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student.
- Integrate digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning.
- Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and best practice pedagogy.
Qualifications and accreditations:
- Current Working with Children Check clearance.
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification in Education/Teaching
