Job Description

The Role :

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key Education sites in Gregory Hills on a Casual Basis.

Role

What This Role Involves :

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
• Prepare and present texture modified foods

Desired Skills And Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have :

Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and / or customer serviceAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamPride in personal appearance & hygienePrevious experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
