We're seeking Catering Assistants to join our team in Port Macquarie, supporting meal service and kitchen operations in a welcoming aged care environment.

This casual role offers rotating Monday to Sunday shifts with up to 12 hours per week. Job Description

The Role :

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Port Maquarie

Role

What This Role Involves :

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
• Prepare and present texture modified foods

Desired Skills And Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have :

• Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and / or customer service
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
