SkyCity Adelaide is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to become a key part of our vibrant team across our Westward and Chandelier Bars at our world-class casino.

About the role

In this role, you will support the Bars Manager in daily operations, planning, and development. You'll assist in staff training, onboarding, and management to maintain high service standards, as well as overseeing inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient bar operations. You'll be responsible for creating a positive, fun, and professional environment for staff and patrons alike, whilst maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

About you

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a bar or hospitality environment, with strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits, and a focus on driving revenue. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate and manage a team while controlling labour.
The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail, and complying with Casino policy and legislative requirements. A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences is crucial. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, is required, with some flexibility needed for event days.
