Overview

Admissions Interview Officer (Administrative Officer Level 2) – Permanent Part Time, 20 hours per week at NSW Health, Concord Repatriation General Hospital. This recruitment may be used to create a talent pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

Responsibilities
  • To provide a high standard of customer service whilst performing administrative duties within the Admissions Department.
  • Interview patients and provide patients, relatives and staff with relevant information as required, communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Support data entry and use of information systems (e.g., intranet, email, Word, eMR modules) with good attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to competently interview patients and provide information to patients, relatives and staff.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a commitment to high standard of service.
  • Good computing skills and attention to detail (data entry, intranet, email, Word, eMR modules).
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
