Who we are:

Haines Christo is a dynamic and growing recruitment agency based in Perth, Western Australia. We specialise in providing top-notch recruitment solutions to the mining, construction, and resources sectors. We started our agency with the goal of Connecting for Better, building strong relationships and becoming an extension of our clients' teams.

Location: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Hobart

Employment type: Full-time

The role:

We're looking for a Procurement Specialist to join ACEN Australia's Construction and Engineering team. Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-value, complex tender processes (RFTs, RFPs, EOIs) from preparation through to contract finalisation.
  • Conduct market research, develop procurement plans, and identify key contracting risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate tender briefings, supplier communications, and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
  • Work closely with internal teams (legal, finance, project) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers).
  • Maintain procurement registers and contribute to process improvements and best-practice documentation.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in procurement, project management, business administration or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in procurement or tender management (construction, infrastructure or public sector preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Why join ACEN Australia:

You'll join a supportive and passionate team that values collaboration, sustainability and positive impact. ACEN Australia is committed to diversity, inclusion and belonging, ensuring a safe, flexible and empowering workplace for all.

How to apply:
