Overview

Maintenance Officer - North at Careers at Council

Permanent Full Time
• Salary: $76,302 - $85,765 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus allowances
• 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with a 9 day fortnight
• Based from Bomaderry Precinct Depot, Nowra, New South Wales

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate tradesman, contractors, plant equipment and materials on building construction and maintenance projects
  • Carry out building condition inspections and record information in databases
  • Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for building works and monitor expenditure of budgets
  • Liaise with staff and the public to deliver excellent service
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and child safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Building and/or Construction or equivalent experience
  • Proven trade experience at a senior level
  • Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • Current Class C Driver's License
  • Willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia
