- Critical to implementing and consolidating HR policies aligned with strategic business priorities.
- Addresses urgent need for a strong HR leader following the departure of senior HR staff.

- Eases current workload pressures on the VP of Finance, who is temporarily overseeing HR.
- Key driver in improving retention, recruiting effectiveness, training, and adherence to procedures.
- Involved in budget preparation, compliance reporting, and community engagement.
The Background That Fits
- Bachelor's Degree (or Associate with equivalent experience).
- Minimum eight years of progressive employee relations and HR development experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, legal requirements, and government reporting.
- Proven success in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development.
- Experience administering performance management, compensation, and benefits programs.
- Ability to design and implement HR policies, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Skilled in employee relations, conflict resolution, and representing company in hearings/investigations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to interact at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership managing HR staff and building HR processes, especially in environments with limited systems support.
