We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged C are clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Lower North Shore and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably minimum 3 days and can be school hours)

Day to day this role looks like:

  • Light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing sheets and washing
  • Transport to appointments and assistance with shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Social Support or Respite for family/carers
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing ( if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • An understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
  • An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle (essential)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check
