Position Description

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payroll in accordance with Awards, Agreements, Company Policies, FairWork, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and relevant legislation
  • Ensuring payments to staff are compliant, correct, and timely
  • Educating the team on legislative changes
  • Identifying process improvements, especially in governance
  • Conducting audits and reviews
  • Responding to escalated payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and reviewing payroll reports
Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a senior payroll role and possess:

  • Strong technical knowledge of payroll compliance and governance
  • Ability to identify and implement payroll technologies
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience reviewing procedural documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
