About the role

Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, you will supervise the administrative team and oversee functions within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee administrative processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Lead and mentor staff, oversee task delegation, and support professional development.
  • Utilize university enterprise systems for timetabling and scheduling in collaboration with academic staff.
  • Organize events such as orientations and training sessions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements aligning with best practices.
  • Prepare reports, correspondences, submissions, and data summaries.
  • Assist with policy and procedural reviews.
  • Coordinate with university departments to ensure collaboration.
  • Manage meetings, prepare minutes, and organize correspondence.
Qualifications, skills & experience
  • Degree qualification with relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in a university or tertiary environment preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, timetabling software (Allocate, Sonia, CELCAT), and video conferencing tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • High-quality documentation skills with attention to detail.
