Working at CQUniversity, the People and Culture Directorate provides a diverse range of human resource, industrial relations, payroll, superannuation and support services for staff across CQUniversity Australia. Join the Talent Acquisition Team, where you will build strong connections across the organisation and advise hiring managers and HR stakeholders on best practice recruitment and selection.
You will coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities through the Human Capital Management system (SAP SuccessFactors), interpret policies, procedures and the enterprise agreement, and provide clear, relevant advice to management. You will also bring your creative spark to develop engaging job advertisements and design recruitment strategies that attract a broader pool of candidates while promoting the CQUniversity brand as an employer of choice. This role is ideal for an energetic, ambitious professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving recruitment processes, delivers an excellent candidate experience, and builds targeted talent pipelines.
You will be solution-focused, leveraging platforms and social media to promote University vacancies. Candidates with strong administration, customer service or HR support experience, who demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and excellent communication skills, are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities through the SAP SuccessFactors system, including posting roles, screening, shortlisting and coordinating interviews.
- Interpret policies, procedures and the enterprise agreement to provide clear guidance to management and stakeholders.
- Develop engaging job advertisements and design recruitment strategies to attract a broad pool of candidates while promoting CQUniversity's employer brand.
- Advise hiring managers and HR stakeholders on best practice recruitment and selection.
- Support delivery of a positive candidate experience and build targeted talent pipelines.

- Policy Interpretation & Advice – Capability to interpret enterprise agreements, policies and procedures, and provide clear guidance to stakeholders.
- Marketing Skills – Experience in developing high quality messaging to different target audiences and creating engaging job advertisements or promotional content.
- Adaptable – Comfortable working across a variety of digital platforms (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to learn new systems.
