We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our brand-new, purpose-built early learning centre in Legana, set to open in late January 2026. This role will commence in November 2025.

We are also seeking expression of interest applications for our Kings Meadows service, which is expected to open mid-year in 2026. Please specify which location you wish to be considered for in your application cover letter.

• Lead the setup and establishment of a new centre, including team recruitment, policy implementation, and community engagement
• Drive the delivery of high-quality early learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQS)
• Inspire, motivate, and lead a passionate team of educators through strong, values-driven leadership
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support the wellbeing, learning, and safety of every child in your care

• A practical and in-depth understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory standards
• Proven leadership experience in early childhood education and care
• Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Early Childhood Teaching Degree (pay commensurate on experience)
• A demonstrated commitment to professional growth, reflective practice, and team development
• A strong alignment with early learning values, ethics, and high-quality pedagogy
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and foster positive relationships with staff, families, and the wider community
• Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration
