Join the Team at Driftwood Restaurant Café & Bar, Ingenia Holidays Rivershore

Set in one of the Sunshine Coast's most popular holiday parks, Driftwood offers relaxed, poolside dining with stunning views and a fresh, seasonal menu. Whether it's morning coffee or sunset dinners, you'll be part of a team serving up great food in a laid-back, coastal setting.

We're looking for a Cook to join our team, responsible for preparing high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment.

This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.

Responsibilities
  • Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and preparation to meet menu standards and minimise waste
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and presentation are consistently high, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen, equipment, and dining areas
  • Foster a respectful, team-oriented environment and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Comply with WHS and food safety policies, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HACCP and accredited Food Safety Training
  • Proven cooking and food prep experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and cost control
  • Organised, detail-focused, and open to feedback for continuous improvement
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, and operating kitchen equipment safely using PPE
