About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will drive sales performance and cultivate customer relationships, ensuring seamless communication between the workshop control, parts department, and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate additional work requirements based on workshop assessments.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability and pricing of necessary components.
  • Coordinate with workshop control to schedule jobs efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
  • Create accurate quotes based on parts and labour costs for proposed services.
  • Contact customers to explain the work required, the reasons for the services, and any associated costs.
  • Address any customer inquiries or concerns regarding the proposed work.
  • Assess the feasibility of fitting jobs on the same day or determining if rescheduling is necessary.
  • Obtain customer approval for all quoted work before proceeding with the service.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and approvals in the dealership's system.
  • Act as a liaison between the service advisors, workshop control, parts department, and customers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Work closely with technicians and service managers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
About you
  • Previous experience in a dealership service environment; ideal for a Service Advisor, Parts Sales Interpreter.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A basic understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology is preferred.
  • Proficient in using dealership management software, ideally with Tune experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle customer objections effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
