Technical Delivery Lead – Dynamics 365

Location: Sydney CBD (2000)

Hybrid: 3 days from home, 2 days in-office (Tuesdays & Fridays mandatory)

Salary: up to 180,000 + super + bonuses

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Delivery Lead to drive the delivery of a large-scale mortgage migration program. This role is suited to a senior technology leader with a strong engineering foundation, proven experience delivering complex programs, and the ability to influence outcomes across large enterprise environments. You will provide leadership, direction, and challenge, partnering closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical delivery of a large-scale migration and implementation program.
  • Provide oversight and direction in design and architecture workshops.
  • Partner with engineers and delivery teams, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring accountability.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly to senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Identify technology dependencies, risks, and potential delivery impacts, and work with teams to mitigate them.
  • Influence and guide without direct reports, leading through expertise, coaching, and stakeholder management.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong financial services background within large enterprise environments, combined with deep technical expertise and proven leadership capability. You will have a career as a Dynamics 365 engineer, building hands-on experience across implementations and integrations, and have since progressed into a Technical Delivery Lead role where you influence and guide delivery rather than code.

  • Background as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 engineer, with career progression into technical delivery leadership.
  • Experience delivering large-scale migrations and implementations within financial services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE, Java, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with middleware technologies; exposure to PowerBuilder and Microsoft BizTalk is highly regarded.
  • Ability to lead and influence technology through coaching, challenge, and delivery oversight.
  • Skilled at partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks.

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
