Due to internal career progression, we're excited to offer a leadership opportunity within our Perth Branch operations. As Operational Lead, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day running of the Perth branch, ensuring the safe, efficient and high-standard delivery of inspection services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with experience in the NDT Industry to step into a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of a high-performing team operating across the power generation, mining, and fabrication sectors.
Base hours are 38hrs/pw with an expectation of occasional overtime and site visits to support and mentor technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating weekly work
Mentoring and onboarding staff
Leading daily prestarts and team engagement
Supporting quotes, tenders, and client enquiries
Approving timesheets and ensuring timely reporting
Managing office consumables and equipment
Upholding ARI's safety, quality, and operational standards
Conduct inspection activities as required
Review and issuing of technical reports
Previous relevant industry experience, carrying out or coordinating NDT, Vessel Inspection, or Welding Inspection
Experience in work planning for ad hoc and campaign-based tasks
Strong communication skills and commitment to best practice
Familiarity with NATA accreditation requirements
Previous experience working on large engineering projects or in an industrial environment
Understanding of WH&S requirements and responsibilities
Understanding of ISO9001/ISO17025 requirements and responsibilities
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
A reasonable level of health and fitness
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
A current manual Driver's License
Satisfactory National Police Check
Live or be willing to relocate to Western Australia

The remuneration package will depend on individual certifications/skill set.
